When concluding a presentation, it is useful to do the following:
• Summarise key points
• Conclude the presentation
• Thank the audience for their attention
• Invite questions.
It is always a good idea when preparing a presentation to anticipate what questions the audience may ask. Then practice answering the questions clearly, giving reasons and explanations where needed.
Cultural attitudes may have an impact on the following aspects:
• The structure of the conclusion (brief or detailed summing up)
• How comfortable the audience feels about asking questions
