Emotion vs. Logic

Imagine that you are watching five people who are waiting to be called in for an exam. Describe their facial expressions, their gestures and their body language.

There were 5 of us in the room. We took our examination questions and began writing. While writing answer I noticed some strange thing, I had never observed before. It looked funny.

One of the students scratched her head from time to time, while writing touched her clothes, smoothed her hair and looked nervous.

Another one was deeped in thought, shacked his head at times, nodding at others, shrugged his shoulders and frowned.

But the most interesting was when others began to answer. ( I thought I would die laughing). When Olia came out to the front it was quaint (химерний) performance of behavior. Answering she licked his lips, after each sentence, she stopped and stared at examiner to set her approval or disapproval and when examiner didn’t show any gestures he pouted his lips and sneered.

Nastia yawned all the time as she is indifferent. And how funny was when Igor winked at examiner and then turned red with shame.

They were too nervous and couldn’t control their behavior, facial expression and gestures. Nevertheless I found out another side of groupmates – they are gifted in dumb show (пантоміма).

The easiest way to manipulate people—especially Americans—is by playing on their emotions. If you let people think too much they're more likely to make a logical choice. If you can guide them to feel a certain way—a way that benefits you—you'll have a much easier time getting what you want. This is what emotional manipulation is all about.
Master Your Own EmotionsIdeally your target won't have an exceptional amount of control over their emotions, but that doesn't mean you get to be lazy. A master manipulator needs to be able to act. Shedding a tear when it suits your needs or losing yourself in a fit of rage are both important skills you'll want to master. Whether you want to incite fear, sympathy, or anything else will depend on the situation, so it's important to master your own emotions so you'll have the proper tools for the task at hand.
