4. Course prerequisites and post requisites
For effective learning of course content Cytology requires knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of human and animals physiology of the muscular, nervous, connective and other tissues), Zoology (bone, muscle and other systems of vertebrates), biochemistry (the mechanism of the biosynthesis of proteins and nucleic acids). The knowledge gained in the discipline, can be used to study cell and tissue cytological, biochemical and morphological methods in the experiment.
