On the 12th of March, 2010, a small village of Kyzylagash in Aksu district of Almaty province became famous all over Kazakhstan. However, the price for such fame was very high. That night the dam of reservoir burst open and the village was almost completely wiped out. The catastrophe caused a lot of casualties and damage to local people. Their lives were changed forever.
