UK Falling In BMI Political Risk Ratings The UK has fallen 16 places since the start of 2008 in BMI's short-term political risk ratings. It is now ranked 31st globally out of our 150 rated states. Whereas in 2007 it was ranked eighth among its EU peers, the UK has now sunk to 12th position. This is a result of the British government's activities.
