a laboratory -a lab. Experiments are carried out in laboratories.

a workshop – Which floor are your school workshops situate on?

an assembly hall– All schools celebrations and gatherings are held in the

assembly hall.

a term – Our academic session consists of two terms. This term we will study

two new subjects.

a canteen– a college canteen. How many people can go to your college canteen at a time?

a facility – athletic facilities; facilities for studies.

an equipment – modern equipment. The laboratory was well-equipped and ready for scientific work. Some subjects are taught in well-equipped rooms.

a hostel– Students from other towns and villages live in the hostel. They are hostelers.

a dean – There are four deans in our college.

a tutor – Every group has its own tutor, who helps students with their study and upbringing.

to leave school – We left school two years ago.

to take exams, to pass exams – If you want to enter university, you should take some exams.

level pass – Level pass to our college is 25.

to occupy – University occupies several buildings.

a double - period – Usually we have 4 double – periods a day.

a lunch break – During a lunch break students visit canteen and have dinner.

timetable – There is a timetable on the ground floor.

academic session – Usually the academic session consists of two terms.

to attend lectures– If you want to know everything you should attend lectures.
