Queen Victoria

Victoria was born at _____ Kensington Palace, London, on 24 May 1819. She was ____ only daughter of Edward, Duke of Kent, fourth son of George III. Her father died shortly after her birth and she became _____ heir to _____ throne because ____ three uncles who were ahead of her in succession - George IV, Frederick Duke of York, and William IV - had no legitimate children who survived. On William IV's death in 1837, she became ____ Queen at _____ age of 18.

Queen Victoria is associated with _____ Britain's great age of industrial expansion, economic progress and, especially, empire. At her death, it was said, Britain had ____ worldwide empire on which ____ sun never set.

In ____ early part of her reign, she was influenced by two men: her first Prime Minister, Lord Melbourne, and her husband, Prince Albert, whom she married in 1840. Her marriage to Prince Albert brought nine children between 1840 and 1857. Most of her children married into other Royal families of Europe. In her later years, she almost became ___ symbol of the British Empire. Of course I can tell you about Chris. She are 18, and she study economics with me. I think she was very sociable – she have lots of friends. She is very hard working – recently she passed her exams very well.

She is like going out, seeing films, and listening to music. Not long ago we were to the classical concert together. Since childhood Chris enjoys classical music greatly.

She be very independent. She preferring to do everything on her own.

Now Chris learn foreign languages, her specialty are world economy and she just achieved some good results. Next week she taking an international exam in German.

I think she is really nice and you can get on well with her.
