Listen to the report and say whether the following statements are true or false:

 

1. The gap between rich and poor is widening all over the world.

2. One can see the reduction in inequality during the crises.

3. The income of top earners is not rising.

4. There is not any relationship between inequality and economic growth.

5. In France, Portugal and Spain the gap between rich and poor stays the same.

6. In Australia, Denmark, UK, USA the gap continues to rise.

7. In Finland, Netherland, Germany, Israel, Canada and the USA earning inequality is dropping.

8. Rising inequality is inevitable globally.

9. The biggest ratio between rich and poor is in Italy and Japan.

10. Governments can reform benefit policies getting more people into the labour force and making sure they are paid decent wages.
