  The editor said to his assistant: “Prepare the article about the WHO, please.”   The editor said to the secretary: “Don’t be late.”   The editor asked his assistant to preparethe article about the WHO. The editor ordered the secretary not to be late.

I. Transform the following sentences intoIndirect Speech.

1. The girl said to her mother, “Buy me this children’s magazine, please.”

2. The doctor said to the journalist, “Don’t disturb the patient.”

3. The lecturer said to the students, “Prepare the information about the first Ukrainian newspaper”.
