THE PRESENT INDEFINITE TENSE

Ex. 1 (elementary). А.Write the third person singular of these verbs.

 

Brush – he (she) brushes, buy, complete, cry, defend, deny, destroy, catch, do, eat, enjoy, fix, fly, go, live, make, miss, play, push, reply, smoke, teach, try, wash, excite, expect, fry, guess, pray, reach, rush, want, watch.

B.Put these sentences into the interrogative and negative forms.

 

1. The bell rings at 8:30. 2. They live in the country. 3. We know his address. 4. He speaks English. 5. The book describes the museums of our town. 6. The earth moves round the sun. 7. Our teacher works at school № 5. 8. It often rains here in summer. 9. They like to dance. 10. He plays the piano all the time. 11. The flowers look fresh. 12. THE PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
