The “-ing” forms. The Infinitive. Participle II.(consult Appendix 3)

13. Decide if the -ing forms in these sentences are gerunds, present participles or adjectives:

  1. Graphic artists use large-format printers that are capable of producing high-quality photo-realistic prints, signs, posters, maps, diagrams, and the like.

16. Transform the following sentences into Participle I or Participle II constructions:
