III. Read the dialogue. Practice it in pairs. Trade roles and reproduce the dialogue in pairs.

P.: Yes.

C.O.: Will it be better if I speak slowly?

C.O.: So you have filled it in in English. Very good.

P.: Yes.

P.: Yes.

C.O.: Could you open this suitcase, please?

P.: Mmm…

C.O.: Do you hear me, sir?

P.: Yes, yes.

C.O.: So, you have only your personal belongings here, sir?

P.: Yes.

C.O.: Oh! What is this? A knife?

P.: Hmm...

C.O.: Could you speak louder, please. I don't hear your answer.

P.: Yes.

C.O.: Is it a knife?

P.: Yes.

C.O.: But this is a kitchen knife, isn't it?

P.: Uh huh.
